AN ANGELINO GIRL'S WARDROBE SURVIVAL KIT TO NEW YORK

Webster's Dictionary definition of magic is, "the use of means (as charms or spells) believed to have supernatural power over natural forces."  But I really think the definition of magic should be, "New York in December." As we say good bye to 2011, I am saying hello to new experiences. And I am starting with seeing New York in December!

I have never been to New York when its been lower than 60 degrees. So I asked my friend Nadia (whom is graciously letting me stay in her apartment in Tribeca), what should I bring to survive the cold weather?!?! Nadia says, "gloves, sweaters, walking shoes, and a hat." My first thoughts are, "oh dear gawd. How am I going to look fabulous in all that and keep my LA swagger?" Here is what I've found:
